I ordered a set of custom Ti engraved and anodized scales for my KNAFS Lander 2 knife. The fit and finish are perfect and the scales are a 1/1 design making my knife truly unique.
I can’t say enough about how nice these titanium scales are. They totally transform an already great folder into an awesome one. Perfect fit, just the right amount of grip, and the little bit of extra weight are just perfect. Worth every penny.
Overall, the Ultem scales look amazing and I like the scales, however the screw holes for the pocket clip on the right side are not properly aligned. I could only use one screw for the pocket clip which is disappointing. I have tried taking the scale off and realigning it to no avail. Again, I definitely like them but be weary about problems with getting the pocket clip properly aligned.
Update:
After reaching out to Dustin, he sent out a new set of scales free of charge and said that the old scales were machined wrong. Excellent customer service! New scales fit perfectly.
